Product Manager 

Neosensory uses patented technology to non-invasively expand the brain’s sensory capacity. Our wearable devices take in novel information streams and translate them into spatial patterns of vibration — think of it like AR that operates through the skin instead of the eyes. With practice, the brain learns to understand this information at a direct perceptual level. We currently have a wearable with two different use cases and a third to launch very soon. The first translates sound into patterns of vibration on the skin for hearing loss. The second is for tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Our third helps people with age-related hearing loss. As a Product Manager at Neosensory, you will be leading aspects of product development while working closely with designers, mobile, backend, firmware and QA engineers. You will be a master at simplifying difficult problems, brainstorming creative solutions and meticulous about owning your products. You are joining a team that loves to solve tough problems and helping to create a new technology. You will need to drive complete product development cycles from discovery to launch. Your primary focus will be working on our mobile app and will also have a great opportunity to learn hardware development. This role reports to the Chief Product Officer and you will work with another PM to create and drive the roadmap.

This position is currently remote and is open to being a permanently remote position.

Required skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience in mobile app (iOS, Android) product management
  • Experience executing stages of product development from discovery to launch
  • Experience with some form of Agile development such as Scrum
  • Experience analyzing data and creating next steps
  • Experience effectively working with multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing

Preferred:

  • Experience working with wearables / consumer hardware
  • Taking a product from 0 to 1
  • Experience with working on end-to-end user experiences
  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction

What will my first few months look like?

  • 30-90 days: You will focus on understanding the product and user base through user discovery interviews. You will also start going through usage stats and organizing/optimizing features for our newest product (aimed at age-related hearing loss).
  • 90-120 days: You will create a roadmap for increased retention and LTV.
  • 6 months – 1 year: You will start to help shape our 3- and 5-year roadmaps in terms of software and hardware development, new ventures, business models, and more.
